Biography
My creative life.
My name is Charlotte Joukes (1991). I’m an aspiring artist born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium. Drawing and painting has been my passion since childhood. From a very young age, I attended the Academy in Borsbeek. It was here that I picked up on different forms of creative expression. Now that I am in my professional life, I’ve been taking evening painting courses at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. While I like still lifes in all their peaceful composure, I am a people person. The human character and its wide emotional spectrum, but also people’s body structure and anatomy have always intrigued me. I am first and foremost a model painter. I hope you like my work.
